Mete Atature, invited speaker at Photonic Online Meetup (POM)

Mete Atature, Professor of Physics at the University of Cambridge and partner of the 2D·SIPC project, was invited to give a talk on Quantum Optics with New Materials at the Photonics Online Meetup (POM) on January 13, 2020.

The Photonics Online Meetup (POM) is an entirely virtual online conference for photonics researchers. The meeting is geared to bring together a community of early career and established researchers from universities, industry, and government to amplify the role of optics and photonics in daily life. The inaugural meet-up on January 13, 2020 had three themes: integrated optics, nanoscale quantum optics and optical materials.

Mete’s talk was part of  Topic 2: Nanoscale Quantum optics.
